Spindle Services Adjustment ShopAll our workforce are all fully trained, time served, machine tool fitters. Their craft is building spindles and the quality of the end product is based on their craftsmanship and years of extensive experience. The adjustment shop is part of the critical rebuild process where the quality of the end product is dictated from. All spacers and locknuts are precision ground on our adjustment machines to ensure flatness and parallelism of 0.002mm or better. Bearing cap traps are carefully calculated and worked out via direct measurement techniques and then accurately machined to ensure the correct bearing trap. The accuracy of the adjustment machines, which is critical to the spindle rebuild process, are maintained by our own fitters ensuring that the micron accuracy required is constantly available.
